The fact is, we spend most of our lives on the job and it stands to reason that we will eventually run into someone we want to get to know better. Based on these statistics, meeting someone at work is simply the most effective dating site you could possibly imagine and there is no monthly fee.

Let's face the truth. If you are out of work, you are one out of every ten people around you. That means when you apply for a job, you are one in several hundred who want that job just as badly as you do. Actually, for the average job seeker, the odds are there are people who actually want the job more than you do and are in this race to win it. The people I find getting the jobs have disciplined themselves to focus like a laser on their goal.

I have been in Human Resources for more years than I would ever like to admit. My career has provided me with food, clothing, transportation, and shelter. As I travel and visit other companies I always pay special attention to the HR department. They are usually overworked, tired, and feeling unappreciated. But that is the lot of the HR Professional.

Life! God bless the word processor (the generic term we use for Microsoft Word...or Word for short) Because the first word that you have read is the last word that hit my mind when I completed this article. The true marvel is that I simply move my cursor to the start of this article and type it in. I don't exactly know what that word will be as I am typing now but I am sure it will sum up the totality of what has just hit me.
